Agroserv Industrie (Agroserv) has been operating since 2008 in Ouagadougou in the processing and marketing of maize products: Gritz, Semolina, Flour and Bran.
Agroserv is proactively involved in the upstream structuring of national agricultural value chains by providing technical and financial support to a large network of small producers and farmers' organisations from which the Company obtains its supplies, thereby enabling it to control the quality and costs of its raw materials.
With a dynamic growth and financial performance constantly increasing over the last 5 years, the management of Agroserv is considering the development of a food processing complex aiming, on the one hand, to increase the primary processing capacities, and on the other hand to diversify the production by introducing secondary processing lines.
Technical Assistance
The goals of the Technical Assistance are:
- Assess the company's compliance with the regulatory and legal framework for E&S risk management.
- Identify potential compliance gaps and recommend mitigation measures (H&S, labour conditions, land acquisition and use, supply chain, resource use, ...)
Expected Impact
- A better understanding of the legal framework concerning the E&S aspects in which the company operates
- Better control and mitigation of E&S risks
- Identification of ways to improve E&S aspects
