The bank was originally created in 1998 as a discount house to provide investment products and services to private and institutional customers. It was granted a universal banking licence in 2006. Fidelity Bank has since reported impressive performance, becoming the 6th largest bank in total assets with 80 branches in 9 out of the 10 regions in Ghana and more than 1,000 employees.
