EA Foods Ltd (formerly known as East Africa Fruits or “EAF”) is a Tanzanian food aggregator and distribution company specialised in connecting smallholder farmers to the markets, using digital solutions. EAF has built a strong relationship with over 7,000 smallholder farmers in Tanzania and sources bananas, potatoes, onions, rice and beans from all over the country. The company also provides trainings and other additional services to farmers, and works closely with NGOs in the field.

Technical assistance

The technical assistance aims to formalise and improve EA Food's HR policies, practices and procedures, and their implementation towards Tanzanian national legislation and the requirements of IFC Performance Standard 2.
