ECS is a manufacturer and supplier of (low to middle voltage) electrical switchgear and panels in Uganda. These products are essentially the interfacing equipment between the power service utility provider and a final consumer power income in industries, factories, farms and commercial installations.

Technical assistance

The technical assistance is aimed at recruiting a marketing coach, and monitoring and evaluating their performance. The coach shall enhance the capacity of the company’s sales team through the transfer of marketing knowledge and skills over a period of six months.

Expected impact

The TA is expected to help ECS strengthen its sales and marketing capacity. After this project, ECS is expected to be better capable of identifying key challenges and opportunities in its target markets. It is also expected to help ECS develop a strategy to become more self-reliant and perform better in the local transformer market.
