Banco Popular is a regulated Honduran MFI that focuses on alleviating poverty. It offers a broad range of products to the micro, SME, housing (improvement), consumer and agricultural segments. These products include working capital loans, capex loans, unsecured loans to communities and deposits / savings accounts. On the liability side, the bank captures savings and deposits.

Technical assistance

The objective of the project is to diagnose the operational and ICT processes, in order to design the future strategic ICT plan of the bank.

Expected impact

Identifying all the gaps in the institution and best practices that can allow Banco Popular to reach more Honduran citizens, and include them in financial services.
