The ACEP network (Agency for Private Enterprise Credit) was initiated in 1989 in Senegal and has successfully developed in Madagascar, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Niger.

Technical assistance

Strengthening risk management in a context of strong innovation. Deep reorganization of compliance bodies (control, risk, audit) of ACEP institutions, which is necessary following changes in the business model and optimization of processes and the rationalization of costs, the rise of new risks and the strengthening of compliance requirements. These developments are made possible by the change in the core banking system and the increase in data that can be used in digital format.

Expected impact

Through this project, ACEP Group institutions will update their diligence practices (control, risk, audit) following recent technological and operational developments and will equip themselves in order to derive maximum benefits from the new capabilities at their disposal, allowing them to further exploit digital data for effective day-to-day management purposes.
