The company collects milk from semi-nomadic livestock herders living along the Senegal river. The company supports these herders with food and other services for their livestock. The milk is processed into various dairy products at LdB’s factory in Richard Toll (North of Senegal) and then sold on the local market, mostly in Dakar.

The investment will be used to :

refinance the current BIO loan (running until 15/09/2021) in order to have a better match between the repayment schedule and the company’s reimbursement capacity;
refinance the expensive short term loans used to finance the CAPEX plan in 2016;
refinance part of the CAPEX plan 2016 so that equity can be used to increase working capital and as a buffer;
finance an upgrade in energy efficiency equipment and waste water treatment (needed following the increase in production).
