ACEP Burkina Faso (ABF) is a young microfinance institution that started its activities in September 2012 with a capital equivalent of EUR 1.2 mln. The project is promoted by ACEP International, a network of MFIs that is already present in five other African countries. ABF fosters the diversification of credit available as it provides access to individual loans while competitors do not. BIO's loan will be used to further expand the institution’s loan portfolio.
