BIO welcomes student club Madiba
BIO had the pleasure of hosting Madiba Club, a student group from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management / Université libre de Bruxelles that serves as a knowledge hub on economic issues related to Africa, organising dynamic events, conferences, debates, and exchange sessions.
The workshop aimed to inspire students and shed light on the vast potential and opportunities across the African continent, as well as on BIO’s mission and impact.
BIO’s CEO, Joris Totté, opened the session with an introduction to the current impact investing landscape, with a particular focus on Africa, encouraging an interactive dialogue with the students. Investment Officers Olivier Toussaint and Guillaume A. then shared insights into their work within BIO’s private equity team, illustrating their role through Africa-focused case studies.
A rich moment of exchange and networking — offering the next generation a glimpse into the opportunities that lie ahead. 💡
