Technical assistance

The objective of this project is to design an organisation-wide strategy for Banco Guayaquil that embeds climate change adaptation. To do this, the following is required:

Valorise the risks and opportunities of climate change in sectors of vulnerable and priority clients of Banco Guayaquil, considering the physical and transitional climate risks.
Calculate Banco Guayaquil's indirect greenhouse gas emissions (scope 3), including on investments in priority sectors of the bank.
Define targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in scopes 1, 2 and 3, with validation from the Science Based Targets Initiative.
Complete the Carbon Disclosure Project questionnaire.
Define and approve the Climate Change Strategy for application in the medium and long term at Banco Guayaquil.
