PT Jakarta Tank Terminal (“JTT”) is a greenfield private oil tank storage terminal (gasoline/diesel) in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Indonesia. It consists of 17 tanks with total capacity of 250.000 cubic meters and  a  jetty for vessels up to 65,000 dead weight tons .

JTT’s business logic is the liberalization of the fuel distribution market and the increasing import of oil products in Indonesia. However, local funding sources for this type of long term projects are not available and also in international banking markets, funding for this project is very difficult to obtain. BIO’s investment in the construction of  JTT contributes to improving fuel availability, which is essential for economic growth and reducing  fuel cost for end users.

During construction, JTT employed over 1.000 workers. Staff counts 130 permanent workers. JTT pays taxes in Indonesia and thereby contributes to the economic growth of the country. The plant is located in an existing designated industrial area and required no additional surface to be converted into industrial areas.
